Forklift Training Basics
What does the Test Day consist of?
Your assessment day will be both a theory and practical assessment. The theory part will take between 1-2 hours and the practical assessment will take 30 minutes.
What do I need to enroll?
A completed application form, 100 points of ID, evidence of being an experienced driver ( Previous license or a log book with several hours completed or a letter headed reference from an employer stated that you are an experienced driver and to pay your course fee)
How old do I need to be?
You need to be a minimum of 18 years of age
Can I do training after hours?

What level of English do I need?
You need to be able to read and write basic English or inform us of learning difficulties so we can facilitate your training needs. Call us now to find out more.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to provide identification, comfortable work clothing, enclosed shoes (preferably Safety Boots) and your lunch or lunch money.
Can I drive a forklift once enrolled in your course?
Under Section 82 of the WHS Regulations (exemptions) you can legally drive a forklift while enrolled in a HWR course and under the supervision of a licensed driver. Call us today to find out more.

Do I need to pay in Advance?
Yes, once payment has been made then this will confirm the place for a forklift driver to be assessed
How many do I need for Onsite Training?
We will come and train at your site for a minimum charge of $1950 for up to 5 drivers then $390 for each driver after that.
Is there any extra charge for onsite training?
No extra on-site training cost.
How is it Structured?
Our Onsite Licensing is structured to have your staff away from their work for the least amount of time possible. This will consist of a 1 hour theory classroom lesson, 1 hour theory test and a 30 minute practical to make a total of 2.5 hours maximum. They will all sit for 2 hours as a group to go over the theory then they will be allocated a specific time to come back for their practical test.
